It has been a warm January, but not a record-breaker. The National Weather Service says this has been the warmest January since 2006, which was the sixth warmest January on record. Last month's average temperature was six degrees warmer than usual. Daily highs reached the 70s three times, the 60s ten times and the 50s thirteen times.
